Converting 5000 seconds to hours, minutes, and seconds

First, we find how much time we have in minutes:

5000 60 83.33 minutes

To find the number of whole hours, we divide by 60 (60 minutes in 1 whole hour):

83.33 60 1.388833

So we have 1 whole hour.

To find the number of whole minutes, we multiply the part beyond the whole hour by 60 (since there are 60 minutes in 1 hour). Here the decimal part is 0.388833 .

0.388833 × 60 23.32998

So we have 23 whole minutes.

To find the number of seconds, we multiply the part beyond the whole minutes by 60 (since there are 60 seconds in 1 minute). Here the decimal part is approximately 0.33 .

0.33 × 60 20

So we have 20 seconds.

Therefore, in total, 5000 seconds is equal to 1 hour, 23 minutes, and 20 seconds.
