Equilateral Triangle
An equilateral triangle is regular. The 3 angles are 60°. In an equilateral triangle, the heights, angle bisectors, medians, and perpendicular bisectors all coincide. Thus, their intersection point will be the triangles centroid and the center of both the circumscribed and inscribed circles.
Isosceles Triangle
In an isosceles triangle, 2 sides are of equal length and 2 angles are of equal measure. The two equal angles are called the base angles.
Obtuse Triangle
An obtuse triangle contains one obtuse angle greater than 90° and two acute angles less than 90°.
Acute Triangle
An acute triangle consists of 3 acute angles, each less than 90°.
Right Triangle
A right triangle consists of one right angle of 90° and two acute angles, each less than 90°.
