Raw Data

Raw data refers to the original, unprocessed information that you collect before it is processed or analyzed. These are the individual responses or measurements obtained when conducting a survey or experiment. For example, if you ask your classmates about their favorite fruit, each person's response is part of the raw data.

Before performing any calculations, creating diagrams, or conducting statistical analyses, you work with raw data. It serves as the building blocks of statistics that you can later use to create meaningful analyses.
